(12th - 25th May) Sydney - Manly Beach
We approached Sydney from the north and spent a few days camping on a lakeside near the northern Sydney beaches. We went to Manly Beach and did the whole coffee on the prom and sunbathing while watching the surfer’s thing, and my god the waves were huge too the day we were there, lots of spectacular wipe outs by the surfers. We also travelled up the coast to Palm Beach, which is where they film “Home and Away”. The sand is very yellow and many of the beaches have huge cliffs around them so access is often down steep hills.
