(23rd August) Venice Beach
We did a full day bus tour of LA which ended with us going to Venice Beach. This is where the famous Muscle Beach is. It is very hippy here and Muscle Beach was a bit of a disappointment because it is actually a small outside gym enclosed in a wire fence - like a pig pen. There was only one guy in there working out so we didn't get the full experience of it! Loads of people here though - a huge prom with cyclists, roller bladers and skateboarders. And the classic beach huts for the lifesavers - very Baywatch!
